World Champion of TNA, Nic Nemeth isn’t going to take it easy on Joe Hendry in what could be Hendry’s last shot at the title.
Next month, at the TNA Genesis, Hendry and Nemeth will face off for the third time on the grand stage, with Hendry hoping to secure the TNA World Championship.
In a recent episode of the podcast “Busted Open Radio”, Nemeth talked about his forthcoming challenger, stating,
“I don’t hate him but I’m not just gonna roll over, and if I have to take away [Joe Hendry’s big moment] to solidify a legacy of the show and the company and myself [I’m gonna do it].
“This is his shot and if it doesn’t happen here … he’s never gonna be world champion. Or does he get that win, pull it out, hold the title high, and have that moment where everyone’s talking and everyone’s cheering and it’s just a little bit more real than it usually is?”
Prior to this, Hendry made a bid for the title at Slammiversary in July as part of a five-way match but was defeated by Nemeth.
Hendry also challenged Nemeth for the championship at the TNA Bound for Glory event in October but lost due to the interference of JBL, costing him the title.
