Wrestling star Nia Jax has opened up about the possibility of a female addition to The Bloodline in the wrestling community. The Anoa’i family, of which she is a part, also includes Tamina and Naomi who might be the potential contenders.

During her conversation on the “Battleship Podcast,” Jax expounded on this thought as well as her experience of being an Anoa’i family member, amongst other topics.

A few highlights from her podcast exchange are mentioned below:

Discussing the chance of a woman joining The Bloodline: “Currently, I represent the female Samoan [aspect of the] Bloodline in the industry. Then there is Tamina, and Naomi who is married into the family. It is indeed a probable course of action. Yet, it seems that while the men are charting their unique path excellently, they also want us to create our individual niches. They encourage us to explore our potential and prosper. As I have mentioned previously, even if our support is not visible on-screen, behind the scenes the male members are always there for us. They are continuously encouraging us and have our backs. They are only a message away, watching my matches and offering constructive advice to help me improve. If someday in the future, women are needed to bolster The Bloodline, I am always willing to step up. But for now, I am happy being a fan and watching them, also eagerly waiting for the family’s future steps. We recently onboarded Jacob [Fatu], an incredibly gifted individual, but there is a host of other family members yet to join the circuit, and I am excited about the future possibilities.”

Reflecting on her Anoa’i family identity: “It’s awe-inspiring to be a part of this lineage. Our male members have been representing us successfully for decades, with roots tracing back to High Chief Peter Maivia. The women, however, have not had many opportunities to demonstrate their prowess. As one of the current leading women, I take pride in my contribution to the women’s division and being a symbol of what Samoan women can achieve. It’s an honour to be an ambassador and inspiration for our younger generations and all women from our culture. Yes, indeed our family tree can go on indefinitely [laughs], and we are grateful for the talent and charisma inherent in our family. Everyone should be on the lookout.”
