On a recent episode of the “Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez” podcast, WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax had high praise for Becky Lynch, stating that Lynch is poised to become one of the highest-ranking figures in professional wrestling history. Jax added, “Becky Lynch is set to become one of the undeniable greats in our field. Her dedication, hard work, and stunning performances have well justified her time away. I’m proud to have contributed to her journey by landing her another punch and quite literally squashing her. I eagerly anticipate the day she returns, for a possibility of another face off. I believe we still have unfinished business to attend to. Time will tell.”

During an appearance on another podcast called “Insight With Chris Van Vliet”, actor Stephen Amell shared his experience of becoming a wrestling fan, watching Hulk Hogan vs The Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania VI among other things. Some highlights of the podcast include:

Amell’s introduction to Wrestling: “My love for wrestling began back in 1987. When I was about six, someone gifted me a VHS tape of WrestleMania 3. Subsequently, I watched the first and second WrestleManias. Wrestling became my newfound obsession. I still remember feeling utterly upset when I was penalized in third grade and had my wrestling magazines confiscated for two weeks. Missing wrestling on Saturday mornings was also a part of the punishment.”

On watching Hulk Hogan vs Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania VI: “I remember shedding tears in front of a bunch of 10, 11-year-old boys. My dad encouraged me to pull myself together, but seeing Hulk lose was unimaginable.”

About his participation at SummerSlam 2015: “I would advise anyone against making their debut at a top-tier live event like Brooklyn. The nerves made me completely forget to enter the ring.”

On his anxiety at the start of the match: “Our plan was to commence the match with Cody and me springboarding into the ring. I was petrified I might mess up the springboard. Right before the match, I even suggested to him, ‘Can’t we start without the springboard?’”
