Following the crowning of Nia Jax as the new WWE Women’s Champion, she and fellow professional wrestler Tiffany Stratton attended the post-WWE SummerSlam 2024 media scrum to share on the inception of their collaboration. According to Stratton,

“She essentially chose me to be her closest ally. We were headed to Australia for Elimination Chamber and she took a seat next to me, making the request explicitly.”

Jax expounded on this saying, “Taking into consideration she was a novice, her first international tour, I wanted to ascertain her comfort and safety, you don’t know what could happen, but our chemistry was immediate. Let’s face it, she’s extremely endearing, she possesses remarkable talent in the ring, she’s akin to a strike of lightning in a bottle, a rare phenomenon in this field. Barely two and a half years in, she understands the game, she oozes athletic prowess and an enticing aura, we always brainstorm on just how many merchandise we can create for her, I have plans upon plans. The moment I saw her, there was an undeniable connection and I vowed to take her under my care.”

In other news, former WCW wrestler and NFL athlete Steve McMichael has been engaged in a fight against ALS for the past three years.

Over the recent weekend, ‘Mongo’ McMichael was honored with an induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The official Twitter platform of the NFL shared snippets from the ceremony which you can view below:
