WWE is set to record the upcoming episode of Friday Night SmackDown in the near future. According to reports from Pwinsider, a live broadcast of the popular show is scheduled for this Friday night, and straight afterwards, filming for the following week’s instalment of the program will occur.
At this point in time, there has been no disclosure on why the decision to tape the show has been made.
WWE has also publicized that the match between The Rascalz (featuring Wes Lee, Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel) and Gallus (featuring Mark Coffey, Joe Coffey & Wolfgang) will serve as the curtain-raiser for this week’s episode of WWE NXT.
Here’s the revised rundown for this week’s WWE SmackDown edition:
- A face-off between NXT North American Champion Oba Femi and Duke Hudson
- A showdown involving The Rascalz (Wes Lee, Zachary Wentz & Trey Miguel) and Gallus (Mark Coffey, Joe Coffey & Wolfgang)
- A singles match featuring Brooks Jensen and Je’Von Evans
