Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander’s rivalry persists, and in the forthcoming week, a championship title will come into play on AEW Dynamite.
New CMLL World Women’s Champion, Nightingale was caught off guard and assaulted in the midst of her interview with Renee Paquette. This ambush came from a focused Kris Statlander, who pushed her into some nearby production crates.
A challenge by the dynamic pair of Statlander and Stokely Hathaway for Nightingale’s title was then announced. This effectively set the stage for a showdown that will take place in the revered Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina on the 31st of July, 2024. If Statlander comes out on top, then a future match that could put the title belt in her grasp will be scheduled.
