News On Stipulation Rumors For Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar At WWE SummerSlam 2023

Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar III will take place this Saturday at the WWE SummerSlam 2023 PLE. Each star holds a win over each other. 

Fightful Select reports the planned singles match never had a stipulation attached to it. 

There had been rumors that there would’ve been a stipulation, but Fightful reports that there was never a stipulation pitched or considered heavily.

The report added, “Months ago, there were rumors that a dog collar match was pitched and shot down for Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar. Sources close to both sides confirmed that the idea of a stipulation was never in the cards for the match. We’re told that the limit of the idea was “does this match need a stipulation?,” and it was agreed that it didn’t, and wasn’t broached again. We specifically asked if a dog collar match was in the cards or mentioned as rumored, but were told that didn’t happen.”
