This week’s episode of AEW Collision marked the return of Jeff Cobb, who will be joining forces with The Learning Tree in the upcoming AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view event. He made his comeback during the show, attacking HOOK, Katsuyori Shibata, and Samoa Joe, and will now be pairing up with Chris Jericho and Big Bill for the event.

The episode also included a battle between Hikaru Shida and Deonna Purrazzo, wherein Shida came out victorious to progress in the Owen Hart Cup tournament. After the contest, Purrazzo made an attempt to retaliate against Shida, but was intercepted by Thunder Rosa. Now, Shida will face the winner of the Saraya-Mariah May match in the semi-final stage.

Moreover, the Collision episode also marked the appearance of former WWE and MLW wrestler EJ Nduka, popularly known as ‘The Judge’. He was portrayed as part of Swerve Strickland’s team, offering him back up during his weigh-in with Will Ospreay.
