The latest addition to WWE’s referee panel, Vicky D’Errico, made her grand entrance this past weekend at the NXT silver brand live event held in Orlando, Florida.
Prior to the match, Darryl Sharma, WWE’s official, posted a photo alongside the newest referee, D’Errico. She joined the WWE team after successfully auditioning at this year’s WrestleMania tryouts.
Darryl Sharma (@AdrianButlerWWE) tweeted: “Tonight’s #WWENXT live event in Orlando will see the debut of my latest signee – Vicky D’Errico. Vicky was recruited for our WrestleMania Tryouts in Philly, and started her training in Sept. Please give a warm welcome to the former Rough N Rowdy boxing champion @vickyderrico !” on November 2, 2024.
With a solid background in Rough ‘n Rowdy boxing, D’Errico is expected to bring a unique dynamic to her refereeing at NXT.
This week’s WWE NXT episode is set to be broadcasted from the historic 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a venue nostalgically known as the ECW Arena to fans of professional wrestling. The slated show will include numerous ECW legends, with a screening scheduled for Wednesday, November 6, as it strategically avoids clashing with the U.S. Presidential election telecasts.
