In the WWE’s most recent episode of Monday Night RAW on December 16, 2024, The War Raiders emerged victorious as the new World Tag Team Champions. Their triumph came after an intense face-off against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day.
Since their comeback in October, Erik and Ivar of The War Raiders have blazed an impressive trail, boasting victories against teams such as Alpha Academy, LWO, The New Day and The Judgment Day’s Carlito and Dominik Mysterio. Their shot at the tag titles on November 25th, though, ended unsuccessfully due to interference from the other members of The Judgment Day.
This time, however, the odds did not play in favour of the defending champions. Finn Balor’s plan of using a steel chair to sway the match in their favour was foiled by Damian Priest, leaving The Judgment Day at a disadvantage against the full force of The War Raiders’ ‘Viking Experience’.

This victory joins Erik and Ivar’s collection consisting of their initial Raw Tag Team Championship title won in October 2019, as well as their reign as NXT Tag Team Champions, which ended after a solid run of roughly 100 days.
