The crowning of a new WWE Intercontinental Champion occurred when Bron Breakker triumphed over Jey Uso in the latest episode of WWE Monday Night Raw.
In a thrilling encounter that served as the main fixture of this week’s edition, Breakker managed to overthrow Uso to grasp the title, thanks in part to some unexpected intervention from The Bloodline.
Towards the climax of their clash, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Lao stirred from their spot ringside, with Solo claiming he was simply assisting Jey in his pursuit of the title. To this, Jey retorted that he had no need for their support.
In the heat of the moment, Breakker aimed to subdue Uso, but inadvertently struck Jacob Fatu. As events unfolded, Fatu retaliated with a superkick to Uso and sent him crashing through the announce table with a Samoan drop. The match concluded with Breakker pulling Uso back into the ring to deliver a resounding super spear.
The brief 27-day reign of Jey Uso as IC Champion has now drawn to a close. This victory grants Breakker his second stint with the coveted title.
