Tony Khan, the CEO of AEW, and All Elite Wrestling flaunted the overwhelming lineup on their Twitter handles.

Ahead of the action-filled evening, Ricochet, another AEW star, had an engaging chat with New York Post Sports. He divulged his experiences with his current character and his previous stint with NXT.

Some snippets from the chat are:

On his display of current character in NXT:
“I’ve been consistent in demonstrating my potential and my abilities if I’m true to myself. The suit, the interviews, the persona I put forward in NXT was an attempt to exhibit this. Although I found myself in a rough position in 2019, I carry forward the zeal to do my best in shedding light on my unique personality.”

Talking about his struggle to express his personality in WWE:
“No matter how many concepts you propose or how many videos you create, you’re left stranded at a specified position until the authorities decide otherwise. However, it could have been an entirely different story the very next week.”

Regarding how he might have been given more freedom to express his personality:
“People should have given me the freedom to express my personality, my distinct styles, and my unique approach to things. Although I would be to blame if things didn’t work out, I firmly believe that my way is usually the most effective.”
