New IWGP Heavyweight & Intercontinental Champion Crowned At Wrestle Kingdom 15, Jay White’s Night Two Opponent Set
Kota Ibushi won an incredible battle against Tetsuya Naito, and now he’ll move on to face Jay White on night two of Wrestle Kingdom 15.
The night one main event saw Ibushi beat Naito to win both the IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Championship. Ibushi won the match after he blocked a Destino attempt before hitting a Kamigoya for the pinfall win.
After the match, Naito presented both titles to Ibushi, but the celebration was short-lived as Jay White came out to confront the new double champion and told him that his reign would only last day. Check out the final moments of the segment below:
