New details have emerged regarding the separation of John Laurinaitis and Kathy Colace, the parent of champion WWE wrestling duo, Nikki and Brie Garcia, otherwise known as the Bella Twins.
News of their separation came to light earlier this week, conveying that Colace and Laurinaitis had ended their union that had begun quietly in early 2016.
According to the official records from the Supreme Court of Maricopa County, Arizona, Colace initiated divorce proceedings against Laurinaitis as of February 9, 2024.
Interestingly, this move was made roughly two weeks post the lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against Laurinaitis, Vince McMahon, and WWE. In her lawsuit, Grant levels charges of abuse and being trafficked.
Despite initially positioning himself as a fellow victim in this unfortunate scenario, Laurinaitis later aligned with McMahon in making an appeal for arbitration on May 2.
This volte-face regarding the legalities occurred a day prior to the finalization of his marriage dissolution by Judge Brad Astrowsky on May 3.
Moreover, Grant’s charges include the particularly disturbing allegation that both Laurinaitis and McMahon sexually assaulted her, with her quoting them as saying “No means yes” and “Take it b*tch.”
Furthermore, Grant contends that McMahon compelled her to “serve herself” to Laurinaitis as a “breakfast” prerequisite for the continuation of her employment with WWE.
