A fresh contest has been integrated into the NXT Heatwave event — it will occur as part of the preliminary show happenings.
The Countdown to NXT Heatwave is scheduled to commence at 6 p.m. ET, and it will not only host a panel delivering insights and deconstructing the card through video summaries but also a tag team bout.
In a previous encounter, Sol Ruca emerged victorious against Arianna Grace, thus securing a chance to challenge Kelani Jordan for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Following her defeat, Grace was seen disheartened in the locker room, expressing her disappointment about not being able to compete in her native Toronto to Karmen Petrovic. Simultaneously, Jazmyn Nyx and Jacy Jayne took an opportunity to insult Petrovic. Subsequently, Petrovic fought Nyx and lost due to interference from Jayne. This lose led Petrovic to Ava’s office to demand a rematch.
It was then Ava revealed to Petrovic that she had already arranged a match on the request of her friend. Petrovic assumed her partner to be Natalya, however, she was mistaken. Grace will be her team member for the fight.
