Netflix Responds To Queries About WWE RAW & Archival Content

As a response to a multitude of fan queries, Netflix has unveiled details about the inclusion of WWE on the service, signified by the launch of RAW on January 6.

Netflix elaborated that all live WWE events aired on Netflix will be encompassed within the subscription fee, thus fans will not face extra costs.

However, the subscription service does not encapsulate SmackDown, NXT, and WWE pay-per-view events.

Starting January, a selection of archival content will be made available on Netflix, with RAW’s archival content being accessible in the US. Live episodes will be immediately accessible post-broadcast.

The platform will give fans the flexibility to download WWE shows approximately two days after their airdate.

Do I need an extra cost to watch WWE on my Netflix plan?

All live events coming to Netflix are included in all plans — this includes selected WWE programming, depending on your region.

Where can I tune into WWE Raw?

Starting Jan. 6, 2025, Netflix will be the exclusive provider of WWE Raw in the United States and territories including American Samoa, Guam, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Mariana Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.

Members in the following countries will also have the ability to watch WWE Raw on Jan. 6, 2025:

More countries will be gradually added, but the countries listed above can access SmackDown, NXT, WWE premium live events, and select archival programming (outside of the United States).

Will I be able to watch SmackDown, NXT, and WWE premium live events on Netflix?

Netflix users in the United States will not have access to SmackDown, NXT, and WWE premium live events. However, members in the mentioned countries will be able watch SmackDown, NXT, and special events such as WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble with their existing Netflix subscriptions. More countries will be incorporated from 2026 onwards. Premium live events are also included in your Netflix plan when available.

What kind of WWE archival content can I expect?

From January 2025 onwards, Netflix will start broadcasting selected WWE archival content. WWE Raw’s archival content will be available for viewers in the United States, with more such content accessible in the above listed countries.

How soon after live streaming can I watch episodes on Netflix?
