Natalya Returns To SmackDown, Loses Non-Title Tag Team Match

After hurting her ankle and getting surgery on her leg last month, Natalya was back in the ring tonight, where she took part in a tag team match with her co-WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Tamina.
Despite the good vibes from being back in the ring, things didn’t go too well for Natalya and Tamina. In a non-title match against Shozti Blackheart & Tegan Not, it was clear that Natalya was still a bit rusty in the ring. Almost immediately, Natalya began to dominate Shotzi, but couldn’t tag anyone thanks to Tamina and Nox brawling outside of the ring.
With Natalya watching the chaos unfold, she couldn’t see Blackheart, who quickly rolled up Natalya and pinned her for the easy victory. With the win, Blackheart & Nox now position themselves well for a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
