Following the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view event, MVP of The Hurt Syndicate clearly wasn’t in a frame of mind to entertain certain inquiries from the media.
On the main event, ex-WWE Champion Bobby Lashley triumphed over Swerve Strickland through a referee halt. It marked the in-ring pay-per-view debut of the former WWE champion.
However, in the subsequent media scrum, when Lashley was queried about his driving forces, MVP interjected and dismissed the question with the words, “That’s a dumbass question, man. Don’t answer that s***.”
When another journalist from The Believe Network tried to pitch in a question, MVP quickly retorted, questioning their journalistic credentials and if they were merely a ‘pretender.’
On hearing that the journalist had their education from Full Sail University, MVP permitted them to ask their question.
At one point, a query from the Wrestling Observer was completely brushed off, with MVP blatantly asserting: “No, we don’t entertain any questions from that nerd.”
MVP made his AEW presence known during the Grand Slam edition of Dynamite in September, and has since joined forces with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin.
