In a sit-down conversation with Renee Paquette, as part of “AEW Close-Up”, MVP delved into aspects like the future of The Hurt Syndicate and the prospects of a fourth member joining their ranks.

MVP on the ultimate goal of the group: “Our purpose is plain and simple – we’re here to earn money, snatch titles and cement ourselves as the best when it comes to causing pain and discomfort in others. We get a kick out of it, and we’re paid handsomely for it. It’s evident there are people who value their titles immensely, and we plan on taking those away from them. Neither the AEW fans nor the locker room personnel seem thrilled about us being here, nor should they.”
MVP about adding a fourth member to their squad: “You seem to be getting a bit ahead of the game here …you’re jumping the gun. I appreciate your journalistic commitment and even though it’s a fair question, I’m not spilling any beans on that one.”
What MVP seeks in a potential fourth member: “Primarily, they should be trainable. They should possess swag, a unique style, and fashion statement because we like to term ourselves as fashionably violent … you cannot merely own a good pair of jeans. But I’d emphasize on the key traits as being trainable, athletic prowess, and the will to inflict pain on others for moolah.”
