In a recent episode of the “Drop The Heat” podcast, MVP shared his motivations behind exiting WWE and revealed the challenges posed by dealing with the current management. Presently, MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin are active members of AEW.
MVP made his sentiments clear, “This instance, I chose not to extend my contract and I made clear my decision of not re-signing. Whenever in any organization, a change of management occurs, it’s beneficial for some individuals, and not so much for others. New individuals come in, while old ones leave. I genuinely felt it was time for me to part ways as the new management wasn’t in alignment with my vision and I wasn’t in sync with them either [laughs].”

In the same episode of the “Drop The Heat” podcast, AJ Francis brought up the potential prospect of teaming up with Moose in TNA Wrestling, considering they both have NFL pasts.
Francis voiced his desire, “It would be a good match to team up with Moose. We are the exclusive pair of genuine NFL professionals currently in wrestling. We didn’t just participate in a rookie mini-camp test, we had the actual experience of playing in matches. We are the lone pair, so it would be interesting to be real NFL players in wrestling.”
