Former professional wrestler and current AEW manager, MVP, recently revealed a notable regret from his wrestling career in WWE. In an interview on the “F Y’all” podcast, he amusingly disclosed that he wished he would have given a good slap to a particular wrestling executive.

When asked about who he would choose to slap without any consequences, MVP pointed towards a wrestling executive. However, he did not reveal the name, stating humorously,

“You know who I want to say. You know who I want to say, I just don’t know if it would be the best thing to say right now.”

He elaborated further, saying,

“Let’s just say, in my professional career, I have only one regret. There is one individual, an executive for a wrestling company that I wish I would have slapped the sh*t out of when I wanted to, and I never got the chance. I’ll leave it at that. That’s not hard to figure out.”

Recent events on the AEW platform were also discussed in an episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast hosted by Bully Ray. The conversation was around the provoking interaction between Nick Wayne and Christian Cage on a recent episode of AEW Dynamite.

In the mentioned segment, Wayne demanded an apology from Cage, who was justifying his defeat at AEW Resolution. Matters got heated when Cage angrily pushed Wayne leading to Mama Wayne stepping in to defuse the confrontation.

Bully Ray gave his opinion on the event, commending Wayne for standing up to Cage :

“I enjoyed the backstage with Christian this week. I enjoyed seeing Nick Wayne step up and go ‘Uh-uh, you’re full of st, Christian.’ I enjoyed seeing Nick finally have some – a flame lit under his ass, some personality, the willingness to stand up to a guy who has led them down a path that has not paid off.” He also added his appreciation for Mama Wayne’s intervention.

The host further states: “All six-foot-two of her, and her flowing blonde hair, Mama Wayne just looking undoubtedly at Cage and saying ‘Don’t you talk that way to my son, don’t you put your hands on my son.’ A mother protecting her child? And then Christian says ‘you better get right back in line, woman, or you’ll be working at that Waffle House.'”
