Former WWE Superstar, MVP, recently took part in a virtual signing event for K&S WrestleFest, where he shared his spine-chilling experience wrestling against Kane in the Inferno Match at WWE Armageddon 2006.
MVP disclosed his scary experience, saying, “Yes, engaging with Kane in the inferno match was a terrifying experience. They lit me on fire… My attire was a flannel suit that was completely soaked in a super cold gel. Over that, I had a dry outfit on, and further to that, the seamstress sewed the top and bottom together. Over these, I wore my actual wrestling outfit.”
He shed more light on the nerve-wracking experience, pointing out, “One eerie aspect of the whole event was that every time the flames whipped up around the ring, there was a burst of gas that gave rise to the flames.”
In addition, MVP expressed his disappointment at how the wrestling business has failed to fully recognize the talent of fellow wrestler, Kenny King.
Kenny King, who has shown his worth by winning various titles in both Ring of Honor (ROH) and Total Non-Stop Action (TNA) wrestling, has also made appearances on the reality show, ‘The Bachelorette’.
Concerning Kenny, MVP confessed, “Just a few days back, I ran into Kenny in Las Vegas. Kenny is like a little brother to me… He deserves a permanent spot somewhere in the wrestling business. I’m unsure about what transpired with TNA Wrestling, but it’s a shame that he’s not receiving the opportunities he deserves.”
