Mustafa Ali Steps In To Help Cover Talent Cost Of Freelance Wrestling’s First ‘In Our Warehouse’ Event

Mustafa Ali

WWE Superstar Mustafa Ali is stepping in to help a promotion that helped him gain a reputation along his road to WWE.

Chicago’s Freelance Wrestling had previously announced plans to run live streaming events in their training facility with the intent of helping independent wrestlers continue working amid the Coronavirus outbreak and allow fans to donate to each wrestler personally. Mustafa Ali said on Twitter that he would cover the payment of all talents who work the first of these warehouse events. Ali would remark that times are only scary when it appears that you’re alone.

Scary times only exist when you feel like you’re on your own.

I’ll be donating to cover all of the performers pay for the 1st event. I encourage anyone that is in the position to do so, please donate and allow these incredible artists to perform for you. @FreelanceWres is home. https://t.co/GC6RuNtFkJ

Although Freelance Wrestling is an independent wrestling promotion, their warehouse events will not be far from the presentation of WrestleMania 36 this year. WWE recently announced that WrestleMania will be broadcast live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida with only essential personnel in attendance. To learn more, click here.
