More On AEW Declining Bret Hart’s Offer To Become An Agent

Bret Hart has reportedly been wanting to join AEW as an agent but was turned down by the company.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that although the story is technically true, it isn’t a new story, and Hart himself considers it “overblown” since it’s old news.

In 2019, Hart spoke with AEW about becoming an agent. AEW President Tony Khan wanted to use Hart as a television character instead of giving him a backstage role. The Hitman then made a similar offer to WWE which was also turned down. In both offers, Hart wanted to work from the comfort of his home instead of hitting the road with talents.
