During a recent guest stint on the “Ministry of Wrestling” podcast, prominent wrestler Moose mulled over the prospect of becoming a babyface in TNA. He suggested, however, that it might be premature to dismantle The System, his faction that currently holds the title of the leading heel group in TNA.
Moose expressed his viewpoint, “I mean, there are different circumstances and different narratives that could potentially turn me into a babyface but I do not feel it is the right time to pursue that. The System is in its initial stages, we are a formidable faction, and some might even say we are the best villains in professional wrestling at present. I think it’s too early to even ponder about breaking us apart. I do see situations that others might write that could make me a babyface, but I feel we are far from that time.”
At TNA’s standout 2024 event, Bound For Glory, Joe Hendry was unsuccessful in his attempt to overthrow Nic Nemeth as the TNA World Champion.
The match was marked by an unexpected appearance from WWE Hall of Famer JBL, who bowled over special guest referee Frankie Kazarian with a clothesline when Kazarian tried to cash in his Call Your Shot Trophy.
However, JBL did not stop there. He nailed Joe Hendry with a clothesline too, allowing Nemeth to retain his championship. Earlier, Hendry posted a picture of JBL’s controversial action on social media.
JBL later reacted to Hendry’s posted photo with the statement, “I still believe in Joe Hendry.”
