Montez Ford, a well-known WWE star, has communicated his readiness to participate in a UFC-WWE crossover event. In a conversation with Comicbook.com, he revealed that he discussed the idea with WWE President Nick Khan.

Ford made the bold statement, “People may not be aware, but I have a military background and almost earned a black belt during my service. I’ve got not only hand-to-hand combat expertise, but also life experience. Bobby believes in my training routine and my determination and suggests that with the right guidance, I would fare exceedingly well. I’m ready to go up against anyone here backstage, including Angelo Dawkins. I don’t tire easily unlike some; my enthusiasm is unwavering. I’ve informed Nick Khan that if there’s a need for someone to step into the octagon for a crossover, I’d willingly shoulder that responsibility. The thing people should be concerned about is the weight category I choose, as I’m all set to throw my weight around so to speak. I want to make it clear on ComicBook: If anyone thinks they could take me down easily in the octagon because of my unfamiliarity with the UFC, they should step forward. As the wrestlers say, for real. I’m prepared. If they consider featuring me in a crossover event, WWE versus UFC, I’m ready to represent us. At the moment, we lack representation. I would gladly step up to be that representation.”

Ford’s last match alongside his partner Angelo Dawkins took place on the May 3rd episode of WWE SmackDown, where they bowed out to A-Town Down Under in a WWE Tag Team Title showdown.
