It’s time to get hype!
During tonight’s awkward, yet surprisingly fun, episode of SmackDown without any fans, Triple H and Michael Cole asked Mojo Rawley if the rumors were true about NFL legend Rob Gronkowski. Rawley, who is the best friend of the former Patriots tight end, said that the rumors are true and that “Gronk” will be a WWE superstar.

Furthermore, Gronkowski will appear on WWE SmackDown next week to address the rumors himself. So, expect the contract to be made official ahead of WrestleMania 36. Whether or not he’ll compete at the major pay-per-view event remains to be seen. He’d certainly give the show a boost in star power, but current rumors point towards a SummerSlam debut instead for the former Super Bowl winner.
