Mojo Rawley could soon be back in the ring as the former WWE Superstar has the ‘itch’ to wrestle again.
In the two years since his April 15, 2021 release from WWE, Rawley hasn’t competed but was booked for AOP’s ultimately doomed WES: UK promotion.
Speaking with “Inside The Ropes,” Rawley revealed that he is eager to wrestle again, and has had the ‘itch’ since his WWE release. He said,
“Man, I’m getting that itch brother. And I’ve had that itch since my last match with WWE, which as crazy as it is to say, was almost three years ago. Obviously that first year I was knocked flat on my back with COVID.
“I missed it, bro. It’s hard to watch recently, I’ve started to watch a little bit more just because I miss it so much. And I’m able to watch without getting not upset or jealous. But you know, you want to be out there. You’re not meant to be on the sidelines when you’re a competitor. So, it’s challenging to watch others when you’re not at that time. But I am getting that itch.”
After leaving WWE, Rawley has found work with TMZ Sports, which he admits has been better financially for him.
The seven-time former WWE 24/7 Champion made it clear that any in-ring return would hinge on him being able to continue his work with TMZ Sports.
