“Filthy” Tom Lawlor appears to be moving on from MLW. CEO Court Bauer took to Twitter to thank Lawlor for his contributions to the company, stating that he was a “day zero” guy since the company relaunched in 2017.

I want to thank @FilthyTomLawlor for his two years with @MLW. Tom was a day zero guy that helped relaunch the league in October 2017. I wish him continued success with the next chapter of his career. First class dude who despite being filthy is somehow all class at the same time.

It’s worth mentioning PWInsider is reporting that Lawlor’s current contract with the company is coming to an end and despite that was still promoting the company’s upcoming Queen’s Cup show in New York City.

Questions have been arising as to what’s Tom Lawlor’s status was with MLW ever since he defeated Timothy Thatcher at Saturday Night SuperFight as Tom took the mic to say that the “world is his oyster.” This week on Fusion, Tom was filmed being asked about what his status with the company and was dismissive of the interviewer, which would lead to speculation that there are some storyline elements in play. Lawlor is a former MLW World Heavyweight Champion and dropped the title to Jacob Fatu this past July at Kings of Coliseum.
