MLW Wrestler Reportedly Signs Multi-Year Contract, Ricochet Speaks Out, More

Professional wrestler Ricochet has recently opened up about CIMA and Japan’s Dragon Gate Wrestling organization playing a key role to rekindle his passion for professional wrestling when he was going through a challenging phase in his career.

In a conversation with Q101, Ricochet opened up about his dwindling love for wrestling and how collaborating with CIMA and the Dragon Gate team rejuvenated his enthusiasm for the sport. He shared,

“My passion for Dragon Gate was refueled at a point when I had almost lost hope. The same happened with AEW recently. I joined AEW in my quest for regaining that long-lost love for wrestling. It was CIMA and the whole Dragon Gate team that triggered that spark within me and propelled me to become the performer that I am today.”

Furthermore, he added, “I’ve learned the art of discipline from PAC. The ring awareness, timing, precision, everything. No one can match PAC’s skill in spatial awareness.”

Brett Ryan Gosselin has reportedly bagged a multi-year contract with Major League Wrestling (MLW), as per Fightful Select.

Currently a part of the Rogue Horsemen faction along with Bobby Fish, CW Anderson, and Brock Anderson, Gosselin holds the potential to be MLW’s upcoming rising star.

Even though Gosselin was associated with MLW without any formal contract for a while, his commendable performance led to this contract. MLW’s CEO, Court Bauer, has reportedly mentioned that Gosselin’s temper resembles Steve Corino, former Extreme Horsemen member, hinting at Gosselin’s potential to assume a similar role in the organization.

AEW has incorporated two additional Continental Classic matches for this week’s Collision episode. Tony Khan disclosed late on Tuesday night that Darby Allin vs. Komander and Daniel Garcia vs. Mark Briscoe are scheduled for this weekend’s show.

The revised match card for the show, broadcasting on TNT on Saturday, includes:

Wrestle Dynasty Women’s Invitational Tournament: Willow Nightingale vs. Serena Deeb
AEW Continental Classic Blue League Match: Daniel Garcia vs. Mark Briscoe
AEW Continental Classic Gold League Match: Komander vs. Darby Allin
Emi Sakura vs. Mina Shirakawa
