Major League Wrestling (MLW) is expanding its production crew with the addition of two industry veterans, as revealed in reports from Pwinsider and Fightful Select.
David Marquez, the one at the helm of United Wrestling Network and Championship Wrestling, is taking up the post of Head of Production at MLW. Marquez was a past producer/director for WWE, showcasing his over 30 years of rich experience in broadcast television. He has worked in myriad roles both behind and on the screen, including being NWA’s main ring announcer.
Furthermore, David Sahadi, the ex-Creative Director for TNA Wrestling, is now a part of the MLW production crew. His exact position at MLW wasn’t disclosed, but his joining was immediate. Sahadi’s LinkedIn profile reflects his position as a TV Director for MLW Wrestling, although it also holds his old title as Impact’s creative director. Earlier this month, it was announced that Sahadi has left TNA Wrestling due to cost-cutting measures.
MLW also disclosed its ambitions to elevate its production level with a larger setup including production trucks beginning with the Blood & Thunder show on July 12th in St. Petersburg, Florida.
