MJF Takes Shot At Jon Moxley, Tony Schiavone Excited About AEW’s TV Deals, Rhio News

In light of the recent TV rights agreements, Tony Schiavone expresses his enthusiasm for the future years with AEW.

This topic became a point of discussion at the AEW WrestleDream 2024 press conference yesterday, where Schiavone shed light on AEW’s latest media rights agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery and Fox Sports Mexico.

Schiavone state, “We’re very very excited about our renewal with Warner Brothers Discovery and Fox Sports Mexico. We’re very very excited about that. I’m personally excited that my long-time career is going to continue for at least another four to five years or so. I’m honored to be here.”

Schiavone’s association with AEW dates back to the company’s inception in 2019.

At WrestleDream 2024, Jon Moxley beat Bryan Danielson to seize the AEW World Championship, a development former champion MJF is dissatisfied with.

Post yesterday’s event, MJF made his return to AEW TV where he commented, “Warned y’all about Dictator Jon. No one listens to Maxwell.”

Lastly, Rhio, the reigning PROGRESS Women’s Champion, has pledged to have the longest title reign.

With a current reign of 357 days, Rhio has managed to beat Toni Storm’s tenure. The only wrestler to surpass her is Jinny, who had held the title for 482 days from December 2019 until May 2021.

Rhio took to Twitter stating, “CHIN UP, TITS OUT, AND WATCH FOR THE SHOE!!! I’m sure that’s what she told me. I WILL be the LONGEST REIGNING @ThisIs_Progress Women’s World Champion in history!!! No one is stopping me.”
