Tonight’s broadcast of AEW Dynamite will officially eclipse the entire run of WCW Monday Nitro, marking it as the 289th episode of this popular show. This notable milestone has caught the attention of former AEW World Champion, Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF).
MJF expressed his thoughts on the momentous occasion via a Twitter post. His tweet read,
“As Nitro altered the world of wrestling, I’m elated that Dynamite, exceeding Nitro’s longevity, has been able to provide both audience, in terms of entertainment, and wrestlers, in terms of finances, an alternative. Reflecting on this feat, it amazes me that it wouldn’t have been attainable if not for my sole efforts in bearing the company on my shoulders all these years…You’re truly welcome.”
Given below is Friedman’s Tweet,
“This achievement of Nitro, needless to say, revolutionized wrestling.
The way Dynamite (exceeding Nitro’s duration) has been providing fans entertainment and wrestlers better fiscal terms, is something I’m proud of.
To reflect that none of this could happen without me single-handedly bearing the responsibility of the company astounds me… You’re truly welcome.
