An opportunity at MJF’s Dynamite Diamond ring was on the line as the second-ever AEW Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale took place at AEW Winter Is Coming. The over-the-top battle royale featured 20 men in total. Besides the former winner, participants included Adam Page, several members of the Dark Order, Shawn Spears, Matt Hardy, Japanese deathmatch legend Luther, Jungle Boy, Orange Cassidy, Miro, and former AEW Tag Team Champion Scorpio Sky.

Miro impressively tossed out several participants and got down to the final six. However, The Inner Circle had the numbers advantage as Sammy Guevara, MJF, and Wardlow were left and the trio tossed out Miro. That left the three faction members to face off against Jungle Boy and Orange Cassidy in the final five. MJF would shove Jungle Boy and Sammy Guevara out leaving just him, his bodyguard, and Orange Cassidy.

MJF and Wardlow had some miscommunication which allowed Cassidy to toss out Wardlow. This declared MJF and Cassidy as the winners and the two will have a match next week for the Dynamite Diamond ring.
