The Hurt Syndicate kicked off the evening’s bouts by successfully defending their AEW World Tag Team Championship against The Learning Tree’s Big Bill and Bryan Keith. Surprisingly, MJF infiltrated the ringside, aiding The Hurt Syndicate in their victory.
Disguising himself as an ordinary spectator, MJF surprisingly targeted Big Bill, which unbeknownst to Bobby Lashley, played into his favor. Regardless, the incident questions MJF’s motive, is he gunning for a spot in The Hurt Syndicate? Time will tell.

A few matches later, “Ageless” Toni Storm pulled off what many are labeling a surprise win against her opponent, Megan Bayne, managing to hold her throne in the women’s division and retain her AEW Women’s World Championship.
This victory is particularly impressive considering that her rival towers over her in stature. Nonetheless, Storm showcased exceptional tenacity, skillfully dodging and retaliating against Bayne’s strong offensive, with Storm clinching the win thanks to her inside cradle maneuver, a return to traditional wrestling techniques.
