“They put me at six, behind a guy named El Hijo Del Vikingo. Can you name me two El Hijo Del Vikingo matches? No. You can’t. I could go on and on. Everybody knows who the best is. If you went on social media the day it got dropped, everybody was saying that either me or Cody Rhodes, an old running mate of mine, should have been one or two. I believe that they put those three guys up there. Those three guys are very talented. But nobody’s on the level of the devil. Everybody knows that.

As far as “those three” are concerned, they would be former Shield-mates: Seth Rollins (World Heavyweight Champion), Roman Reigns (Undisputed WWE Universal Champion) and Jon Moxley (AEW International Champion).

Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes was placed surprisingly low at No. 10, although that may be attributed to Rhodes only being in action for 7 months out of 12 considered for the list.

AEW World Champion MJF recently made headlines as he addressed his ranking on the recently released PWI 500 list. In an interview with Mike Janela on the New York Mets’ YouTube channel, MJF expressed his displeasure at being ranked sixth on the list, behind El Hijo Del Vikingo.

MJF questioned the credibility of El Hijo Del Vikingo’s ranking, asking if anyone could name two matches featuring the wrestler. He confidently stated that everyone knows who the best is, implying that he and his former running mate, Cody Rhodes, should have been ranked higher.

Interestingly, the top three wrestlers on the list were Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Jon Moxley. Seth Rollins currently holds the World Heavyweight Championship in WWE, while Roman Reigns is the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Jon Moxley, on the other hand, is the AEW International Champion. MJF acknowledged their talent but claimed that none of them are on his level.

Cody Rhodes, another prominent figure in AEW, was surprisingly ranked at number ten on the list. This lower ranking may be attributed to Rhodes only being active for seven months out of the twelve months considered for the list.

MJF’s comments have sparked discussions among wrestling fans, with many expressing their support for him and Rhodes as deserving of higher rankings. The PWI 500 list is highly anticipated each year and often generates debates about the criteria used for ranking wrestlers.

In addition to his interview with Mike Janela, MJF also attended a New York Mets game at Citi Field, further promoting AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, which took place in New York City.
