“I’ve never lied,” he began. “January 1, 2024. When stuff like that gets leaked out, it makes me laugh because I remember something got leaked out about Cody having secretly re-signed, and then he showed up. Somebody got leaked out about, you know, CM Punk and Tony Khan, you know, actually fine, everything. You know? I think fans leak out things that they want to be true. I love AEW. I want to stay in AEW. After this pay-per-view, it’s time to assess the situation from a professional setting.”

The host asked whether or not he had re-signed with AEW. He responded, “Not yet.”

In a recent interview on the SI Media Podcast, MJF, also known as Maxwell Jacob Friedman, discussed his current contract status with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The AEW World Heavyweight Champion has previously mentioned that his contract with the company is set to expire in January 2024. However, his recent silence on the matter has sparked speculation that he may have already signed a new deal with AEW.

During the podcast, MJF addressed the rumors surrounding his contract and stated, “I’ve never lied. January 1, 2024.

When asked directly if he had re-signed with AEW, MJF responded, “Not yet.” This statement leaves room for speculation about his future plans and whether he will continue his journey with AEW or explore other opportunities in the wrestling industry.

MJF’s contract status has been a topic of interest among wrestling fans and industry insiders. As one of the top talents in AEW, his potential departure would have a significant impact on the promotion. However, until an official announcement is made, fans will have to wait to see what the future holds for MJF and his career in AEW.
