During a recent appearance on Dr. Beau Hightower’s YouTube channel, MJF praised Daniel Garcia and HOOK as the future of wrestling. He said,

“I just wrestled him on TV for the World Title, I think Daniel Garcia is a hell of a talent, he just has to get the f**k away from people that are giving him bad advice like Cool Hand Ang [Angelo Parker] and Daddy Magic [Matt Menard]. I believe in HOOK, wholeheartedly. Every single time I see HOOK, he’s getting better in the ring and getting more comfortable in front of a live audience, which frankly is the hardest part of the job, and it’s why I skyrocketed so fast, it was never an issue for me. I watch HOOK, he walks through the curtain, and you would think he’s been a professional wrestler for 30 years. That’s how much confidence he has.“

During the latest episode of the “SmackDown Lowdown,” Santos Escobar commented on his match with Dragon Lee at tonight’s WWE Survivor Series 2023 pay-per-view event. As we previously reported here on eWn, Carlito is “injured” and has been pulled from the match. Escobar said,

“Dragon Lee, you said? Who’s that? I never met the guy. I thought I had a day off, but come to think of it, tomorrow night at Survivor Series: WarGames, I have an opportunity. You see, Santos always sees areas of opportunity and this is an opportunity for me to show everybody in the WWE Universe the consequences of being against Santos. You know I’m about family, tradition, heritage, honor, and how fitting that it’s a so-called Luchador that’s coming to show me or teach me a lesson. I love it… I don’t need luck, Kayla. Luck doesn’t work for me.“
