MJF & Chris Jericho Win AEW Tag Team Battle Royal, Earn Title Shot

All Elite Wrestling crowned new number one contenders for the tag team division by having a battle royal at AEW Beach Break. Participating in the battle royal were The Acclaimed, Dark Order, Alex Reynolds & John Silver, Jurassic Express, Chris Jericho & MJF, Sammy Guevara & Jake Hager, Santana & Ortiz, Private Party, Top Flight, and AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks.

While the Bucks had a chance to name their own challengers if they won, they were thrown out after the Good Brothers came out to ringside to taunt their future title challengers, Private Party. In the end, it came down to Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, and Top Flight’s Darius Martin. Jericho would accidentally eliminate Guevara while trying to get Martin out of the ring and then win after hitting the Judas Effect.

They will now face the Young Bucks for the AEW Tag Team Championship at AEW Revolution on March 7, 2021.
