In a recent episode of Talk Is Jericho, a podcast hosted by wrestler Chris Jericho, the wrestler known as Big Bill opened up about his journey to AEW. He also mentioned discussions with TNA Wrestling in regard to a potential full-time contract, before deciding to sign on with Tony Khan’s AEW.
Big Bill detailed: “Per show. For a certain amount of time, I couldn’t work for certain other promotions. That period expired. Then we agreed on a handshake deal. I started hearing rumors about interest from other places. When I asked TNA for a contract, their response was – ‘We don’t want to pay that much.’ I get that, as I believed I could earn more elsewhere. So, I continued on a handshake deal until AEW came knocking.”
In a recent interaction with “The Miami Herald while attending the premiere of Queen Of The Ring at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, AEW wrestler Kamille shared her experiences from playing the character June Byers in the film.
When asked about potential future acting roles, Kamille responded,
“Honestly, it would be contingent on the role and the type of movie. Having certain standards and morals, I don’t wish to immerse myself in an industry where things can become murky and complicated. I’m cautious about crossing that line. It would heavily depend on the role and also the fact that I’m not actively pursuing an acting career. It would mostly depend on whether the opportunity presented itself just like this.”
