During a recent guest appearance on the Talk is Jericho podcast, current All Elite Wrestling star Miro spoke about his WWE run as Rusev and went into detail about the company’s reaction to his engagement leaking online.

In his conversation with Jericho, Miro revealed that WWE was furious when photos surfaced of he and Lana celebrating their engagement in 2014. His former employer was angry due to the former Rusev being in the middle of a break-up storyline with Lana. According to Miro, the photos of the two celebrating their engagement were shared by Lana with some of her friends, and eventually found their way online. He went on to claim that he was scheduled to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship, but the storyline was abruptly dropped once the photographs leaked, and nothing more became of it.
