Miro Retains AEW TNT Title Against Brian Pillman Jr.

Miro has not been afraid to put his TNT Championship on the line ever since he won the gold, and he defended the title again this week. Miro once again dominated en route to an impressive defense Wednesday on AEW Dynamite.
Young star Brian Pillman Jr. challenged for the gold, and he fought valiantly. Early in the match, Pillman Jr. rocked Miro with a dropkick before he nailed him with another one that sent the champion through the ropes and spilling out and onto the floor.
Despite the early momentum from Pillman Jr., Miro wouldn’t be denied. In the end, the champion overpowered Pillman Jr. and locked in his signature submission, the Game Over. Pillman Jr. give up, though; he passed out, and the referee called for the bell. As a result, Miro retained the title.
