As forecasted previously on eWn, Mina Shirakawa is expected to square off one-on-one with AZM at the NJPW Windy City Riot 2025 event.
Recent announcements from New Japan Pro Wrestling mention that the victor of that match will earn the opportunity to compete against Mercedes Mone for the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship at the Resurgence 2025 gathering. The event is set for May 9 in Ontario.

Today at Korakuen Hall, Mina Shirakawa participated in her last match for STARDOM and had Maika as her opponent.
Maika scored the win, and there were warm post-match moments as the duo embraced. Himeka also entered the ring to honor Shirakawa with a bouquet of flowers and later joined the commentary panel.
Shirakawa’s is poised now to move to the U.S. and sign a contract with the AEW.
