On a recent episode of the “Adult Conversations” podcast, Ring of Honor (ROH) athlete Mike Bennett opened up about some of his dream opposing matchups still on his wish list.
Below are select extracts from his conversation on the podcast:
On his dream wrestling matchups: “On top of my wish list are two individuals. In singles competition, I am keen on Eddie Kingston and Cope. Then in a tag team format, I truly aspire to wrestle with The Young Bucks again. The unique dynamic I could create with [Matt] Taven now would be simply remarkable. So, that’s one tag team bout I’m currently passionate about.”
On his hopes to form a tag-team with Matt Taven in Japan: “Honestly, I have this desire to go to Japan with [Matt] Taven. I want to relish it deeper. There’s a certain serenity in spending time in the twilight of Japan, making sense of Tokyo as an American. I’m itching to experience that. It’s my ultimate dream.”
Last night, on an episode of AEW Dynamite, Will Ospreay, fresh off his victory over Kyle Fletcher in a Cage Match at AEW Revolution 2025, publicized his participation in the 2025 Owen Hart Tournament.
In his speech, Ospreay commended Fletcher, boldly heralding him as a “future World Champion.” Fletcher reacted to Ospreay’s commentary on his social media platform, responding,
“At least he confessed it #FutureWorldChamp”
