Mickie James Unsure Why She Lost To Asuka: ‘I May Have Gotten Screwed’

Appearing on The Bump earlier this week, Mickie James commented on the unfortunate ending to her RAW Women’s Championship match against Asuka. In particular, after saying that she got the champion in an uncounted pinfall, she suggested that she might have gotten screwed.
WWE Legend Trish Stratus was also on hand and agreed with her formal rival about the confusion surrounding the match. Any onlooker can see Mickie’s frustration with the referee’s decision, which was to state that Mickie couldn’t continue because of Asuka’s signature submission, The Asuka Lock. Despite that call, Mickie was more than willing to continue, and the ending caused confusion amongst RAW fans worldwide.
After the match, Zelena Vega emerged to stake her claim on The Empress of Tomorrow’s gold, but something tells us that Mickie may just have another chance to settle the score.
