Mickie James is excited to see what’s to come in the growing feud between WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins & CM Punk.
Since Punk’s return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023, Rollins has made it clear he’s not pleased to see the Chicago-Made star, including at a recent WWE live event.
On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, James shared her enthusiasm for the inevitable showdown between Punk and Rollins. She said,
“I will say, I look forward to a CM Punk-Seth Rollins match. You know that match, regardless of whether they like each other, hate each other, respect each other [or] don’t, no matter what, you know that match is going to be phenomenal. Seth kind of like started that fight, and we didn’t really know [about] Punk coming in, who he is going to feud with first.”
A Punk vs. Rollins match has yet to be confirmed though some believe the showdown will take place at WrestleMania 40 in April of next year.
