WWE legend and Hall of Famer, Mick Foley, has provided an update to his fans, following a minor concussion he sustained in a terrifying car collision this past week. The celebrated wrestler was briefly admitted to hospital for post-accident soreness and concussion checkup, but quickly reassured his followers on a Facebook post that he would return to his travels by Thursday, while not missing any of his planned public appearances. His message read,
“It’s been slightly more than 24 hours since I extricated myself from this car, and I’m flooded with a feeling of fortune and gratitude. While I may feel like I was rolled over by a tractor, the notion that one could come out of such a disaster purely with a soft tissue harm makes me believe that someone up there was keeping a watchful eye on me! A deep appreciation to everyone who shared their well wishes.
“I’m returning to touring tomorrow and won’t be skipping a single event!”
In other wrestling news, Isla Dawn’s next showdown, following her exit from WWE, will be at the forthcoming ‘Wrestling Under The Stars’ gala, courtesy of Northeast Wrestling. The event is due on 19 July in Niles, Ohio.
