During a recent guest spot on the “WFAN” podcast, Michael Cole, a famous commentator from WWE, expressed his deep-rooted love for the New York Mets. The Mets are currently competing against the LA Dodgers in the National League Championship Series, which is tied to the MLB Playoffs.
Cole recalled his experience watching the initial game of the Mets’ playoff series opposite the Philadelphia Phillies. The game was happening at the same time as WWE’s Bad Blood 2024 event.
The WWE broadcaster had interesting insights to share; he said, “I have the game on, on my phone, at the announce desk at ringside, with the volume down. When I was doing Bad Blood, which was game one, I had the game on at the announce desk. My partner Corey Graves kept looking over at me and I was pumping my fist and jumping up and down while calling the action of the show.”
Currently, the New York Mets find themselves in a challenging position, lagging 3-2 against the Dodgers in the NLCS.
