Mexican Luchador Black Demon, 39, Passes Away Due To COVID-19 Complications

Black Demon

WrestleZone is very sad to share the news of the passing of Mexican luchador Black Demon due to complications from the Coronavirus which occurred back on April 13. He was only 39 years old.

This is the first reported death in pro wrestling that stems from the COVID-19 outbreak. Black Demon, whose real name was Roberto Múñoz Carrillo, wrestled under the promotion Pedragón Rojo based out of Sonora, Mexico and was the recent winner of the company’s 2020 Red Pedragón Cup back in February.

We at WrestleZone would like to extend our deepest prayers and condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Carrillo during this unfortunate time.
