Ahead of the impending episode of AEW Dynamite, Mercedes Mone has encountered an unexpected travel mishap. As she girds herself for the semifinal round of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament where she is slated to take on Athena, Mone took to her Twitter account to admit that her wrestling attire is currently held up at customs. Nevertheless, this setback has not affected her scheduled performance on the show.

In a tweet, Mone wrote, “My gear for #AEWDynamite is stuck in customs @DHLGlobal. Let’s all pray that it gets here in time.”

Meanwhile, wrestling personality Konnan has shared his thoughts on the current handling of wrestler Claudio Castagnoli by AEW. Speaking on his “Keepin’ It 100” podcast, Konnan didn’t hold back on expressing his irritation about Castagnoli’s current role in the Death Riders stable, which also includes Jon Moxley. He feels that the talented wrestler is not being utilized to his maximum potential in the AEW.

Konnan shared, “I love Claudio as a person, but I’m not interested in him or anything they’ve done with him, which is unfortunate. Remember when they first came in, they brought him in like this monster? Look at him now.”

Earlier on the last week’s AEW Dynamite, Castagnoli teamed up with Wheeler Yuta. However, the duo witnessed a loss against HOOK & Samoa Joe from The Opps.
